Winter Tour & Tasting

Two exclusive winter tour and tasting dates in November.

From 25 British pounds

Winter Vineyard Tour at Burnt House Discover the vineyard in its most peaceful season with our Winter Tour. Begin your visit with a warm welcome and an introduction to Burnt House with one of our owners, where we share our story and the rhythm of the vineyard year. To start with you’ll be served mulled wine in our tasting room. Enjoy a guided walk through the vines as they rest in dormancy. We’ll explore how we care for the land in winter, from pruning and soil care to preparing the vineyard for the growing season ahead. It’s a chance to experience the quiet beauty of the landscape and learn about the craft behind each bottle. Your tour concludes back at the tasting room, where you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of Burnt House wines. We’ll share the character of each wine and the influence of our land and seasons. For those wishing to linger longer, you can add a baked cheese with charcuterie to your tasting for two, making for a perfectly indulgent winter experience. It is £25pp for the tour and tasting. It is an additional £25pp to add a charcuterie and baked cheese board which includes another glass of wine. The winter tours will be on two dates in November: Saturday 1st and Saturday 15th. The tours will start at 12pm, our charcuterie and baked cheese board will be served after the tour at 1:30pm for those that have chosen to add this on.
