Join us at Burnt House Vineyard for The Art of Asado – a full-day, immersive live-fire cookery experience celebrating Argentina’s most iconic food tradition. Led by Jack Rowbottom of Jack’s Meat Shack and Chef Lewis Aleta, this unforgettable masterclass blends hands-on fire cooking, authentic flavours, and a taste of vineyard life.


From building the fire at dawn to carving the lamb in the afternoon, you’ll spend the day surrounded by the sights, sounds, and aromas of the open flame. At the heart of it all: a whole lamb al asador, mounted on the traditional iron cross and slow-roasted over embers to smoky, tender perfection.


Throughout the day, you’ll master the essentials of Asado cooking - from fire-building and whole-animal preparation to flavour balancing and timing - while cooking traditional accompaniments over the parrilla: chorizo, morcilla, provoleta, and…
