Posh Crisps & Nostalgic Favourites

English wine is having a moment — but there is far more to the story than sparkling wine. Join us at Burnt House Vineyard for a series of relaxed, hosted evenings exploring the grapes, regions, producers and ideas shaping the English wine industry.

Time & Location

07 Jan 2027, 19:30 – 21:00

About the event

Forget everything you thought you knew about crisps.

For this English Wine Evening, we're pairing some of our favourite nostalgic snacks with a line-up of seriously good wines. Think childhood favourites, grown-up flavours and a few combinations that have absolutely no business working as well as they do.

We’ll taste five wines alongside a selection of posh crisps, nostalgic nibbles and classic British snacks, exploring how salt, crunch, cheese, spice and a little nostalgia can make wine taste surprisingly brilliant.

Expect great bottles, questionable crisp opinions, plenty of "I haven't had those since I was a kid" moments and some seriously fun pairings along the way.

£35 per person | Five wines | Nibbles included | Approx. 90 minutes

Want to make a night of it? Book dinner in our Vineyard Kitchen before the tasting and join us afterwards for the wine evening. Dinner is booked separately and tables are…
